If it is walking and hikes that you are looking for, the Clarence Valley has a range of options varying in length and difficulty. From long flat coastal walks to bushwalking in the rocky terrain and rainforests, we are spoilt for choice here in the Clarence Valley.

Perhaps one of the most well recognised local walks in the Yuraygir Coastal Walk, which covers 65km of stunning landscape and involves a series of tracks, trails, beaches and rock platforms.

There are plenty of options for beginners and advanced hikers, with plenty of local walking tracks to suit every desire. The Solitary Islands Coastal Walk, Iluka Rainforest Walking Track, Wilsons Headland Walking Track, Angourie to Brooms Head Coastal Walk, Brooms Head to Illaroo Walking Track and Wooli to Red Rock Walking Track are just some of the more popular coastal walks.

Alternatively, there are plenty of local bushwalks that lead hikers through some of the most pristine bushland in the region. Remember to plan appropriately and take sufficient water and sun protection to ensure you have the very best experience.
