Mon's tip

Ask the locals first

Visit the bait & tackle shop just 100m from Calypso — they'll tell you exactly what's biting, the best bait, and the right spot for the day. You can also drop a line right off our pontoon!

Required if 18+

NSW Fishing Licence

A licence is required to fish in NSW waters (freshwater or saltwater) if you are 18 years or older.

Embella Jewellery

Beautiful coastal jewellery — a hard-to-leave-without-buying-something kind of store.

Yamba has three great op shops, and nearby Maclean has five. Try an op-shop trail for something fun and different!
