💛 Local Picks From Our Team – Manz Favourites

Get to know Iluka like a local.

Our Assistant Manager, Manz, knows Iluka like the back of her hand- and she's sharing her insider tips to help you make the most of your stay at Iluka Riverside Holiday Park

🍽 Manz's Favourite Places to Eat

Chinese at the Iluka Bowlo
A local legend! People rave about it so much that some travelers do overnight stops just to eat here.

Chez Basho (Japanese Restaurant)
Perfect for a night out. Manz suggests grabbing a drink at the Sunset Bar first, then strolling over for dinner. They’re also a popular breakfast spot.

🍻 Best Spot for a Relaxed Drink

Sunset Bar or Sedgers Reef Hotel
Both within walking distance. For Sedgers, follow the footpath along the river from the park — a scenic 15-minute stroll.

🌊 Manz's Go-To Swim Spots

Netted Swimming in the Bay
Right near the park — safe and easy.

Moriarty’s
Ideal for young kids: calm water, no big waves, and plenty of space to wade.

The Bluff & Woody Head Rock Pools
Great for a swim or a snorkel (Woody Head requires an NPWS pass).

🚶‍♀️ Favourite Local Walks

Iluka Nature Reserve
Don’t miss the Whale Watching platform! You can also follow the path all the way to the breakwall for stunning views.

☕ Best Coffee Spots

Coffee Cart near the Golf Club
Quick and popular with locals.

The Freshwater Kitchen
For a sit-down coffee and a great breakfast.

🐾 Pet-Friendly Beaches (for guests travelling with dogs)

  • Iluka Main Beach
  • Left of the breakwall — off-leash and perfect for pups.
